A Leadership and Capacity Building workshop amongst Younger Nutritionists in China, June 2008.

Attendees: Trainee Leaders will have a diversity of backgrounds, localities and working environments with evidence of exceptional personal professional qualities under the age of 45 years.
Format: There will be structured presentations by Senior Nutritionists from various sectors sharing insights and approaches to Leadership in Food and Nutrition Science in the interests of human health and economic advancement, with their availability as Mentors throughout the program, informally and formally. Groups of 2 or 3 Trainee Leaders will be assigned for special mentoring from Senior Nutritionists.

There will also be Facilitators to convene the sessions at which younger participants present and interact; they will also track the leadership progression from the beginning to the end of the program in workshops and with the established leaders.
